       Annual Report 2015       Trailblazer Jan to Mar 2016 

Gender and Development (GAD) Training of Trainers

The Regional Gender and Development Committee (RGADC) through NEDA IV-A, in partnership with Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) and in coordination with Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU), conducted the “Gender and Development (GAD) Training of Trainers”  on April 20-22, 2016 held at Maria Paz Garden Resort, San Pablo City, Laguna. The training aims to capacitate the RGADC members in providing technical assistance on gender analysis tools and for possible accreditation as GAD resource pool in the region.

The activity was attended by representatives from different Regional Line Agencies (RLAs), local functionaries from the provinces, and academe/ SUCs. There were about twenty four (24) participants consists of Ms. Nharleen S. Millar of PCW, Ms. Lovely Mores of  NEDA IV-A, RGADC secretariat, representatives from CHED, DA, DAR, DepEd, DILG, DOLE, DOH, POPCOM, Academe – BatStateU, CvSU, LSPU, SLPC,  URS, and local functionaries -  PSWDO from Batangas, Cavite, PPDO from  Laguna, and PGAD staff from Quezon province. LGOOs V Annalyn Marie M. Angulo and Benjie L. Tamondong represented the DILG Regional Office.
