The low pressure area (LPA) will continue to bring rain and thunderstorms in some parts of the country on Saturday, June 10, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.

In its 5 am bulletin, PAGASA said the LPA was located at 105 km Northwest of Coron, Palawan.

This weather system will bring occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms over the provinces of Romblon, Marinduque, Mindoro, Northern Palawan, Aurora and Quezon.

Resident of the said areas are advised to be alert for possible floods and landslides.

Meanwhile, cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms is expected over Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon and the regions of Western and Eastern Visayas.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will be experienced over the rest of the archipelago.

Coastal waters in Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will be moderate to occasionally rough.—PAGASA
