DILG IV-A Honors Retirees
In recognition of their contribution to the Department, DILG IV-A gave grateful recognition to personnel who retired from office effective 2016 during the DILG Calabarzon Program Assessment held on December 8, 2016 at Club Balai Isabel, Talisay Batangas. A holy mass was offered as a commencement activity and in celebration of the feast of the Immaculate Conception. The event was graced by Assistant Secretary Josefina E. Castilla-Go, CESO III and some of the awardees were joined by their families.
Headed by RD Manuel Q. Gotis, CESO III, the regional management presented plaques of appreciation to the awardees, namely Dir. Renato L. Brion, 40 years of service; LGOO VI Rosendo M. Adaya, 41 years; LGOO VI Tirso L. Laviña, 41 years; LGOO V Cesar R. Pelaez, 27 years; LGOO V Ligaya S. Garcia, 40 years; LGOO V Maria B. Nañez, 36 years; ADA VI Romualdo R. Kalacas, 41 years; ADA IV Moises R. Salvador, Jr., 29 years; and ADA III Romeo P. Eclavia, 27 years.
One of the highlights of the recognition was a video message from Usec Austere A. Panadero, in behalf of the Secretary and DILG Central Office management, congratulating all the awardees, particularly RD Renato L. Brion. “This is a most deserved award for having worked with the Department for 40 years. And during this time, Rene really consistently provided leadership to his people and his team in achieving their goals. He’s always known as somebody who continuously innovates and a catalyst for change and a very passionate advocate of his ideas.”
Usec Panadero took the opportunity to extend the gratitude to the Brion family “Thank you for sharing Director Rene with us in the Department. In no uncertain terms, he has really made a mark in terms of his work and contributions to the development of our country and people in the Department. Maraming salamat!”
